Four events across the Silicon Prairie this week that we’re calling out – BitMethod in Omaha, Ignite in Sioux Falls, and TechBrew in Des Moines. Each of these events is free to attend and each should present quality networking opportunities with other entrepreneurs, innovators, and creatives in the region.
Under each of the titles below, you’ll find a short description from the event’s website and a link to those sites. For more event listings, visit siliconprairienews.com/events, and if you have one to add, email info@siliconprairienews.com.
Tuesday, Feb. 8, 3-4:30 p.m. – BitMethod’s Straight Talk About Mobile
Omaha – What Cheer (1111 North 13th Street)
BitMethod wants to engage business leaders in some straight talk about the mobile landscape. We’ll cover stuff like where the real value is in mobile, how you’re probably doing mobile already and don’t even realize it, and why you don’t even need to build your own app.
Thanks to our sponsor
This is a free and intimate session limited to 25 attendees.

Tuesday, Feb. 8, 6 p.m. – Omaha BitMethod Meetup
Omaha – Upstream (514 South 11th Street)
We’ll be hanging out upstairs in the pool hall. We’ve got a pool table and some seating reserved and will be handing out drink tickets for delicious craft beers as long as we can afford to.
No agenda, just conversation. We’ll already be in town for our Straight Talk About Mobile presentation earlier in the day at What Cheer. We wanted to be social and say hello to some of the folks we follow on Twitter and otherwise know from Omaha but don’t often have the chance to hang out with.
