Hollrback in action – the fastest QR code reader we’ve experienced

Yesterday, when Jimmy Winter of RockDex stopped by our office to say hello, we cut a short video of us demonstrating the use of Hollrback, a contact management iPhone and web app that launched out of Omaha yesterday.

Also, Hollrback's creator, Gabe Kangas, published a thorough post yesterday on his personal blog, Gabe's Digital Life, listing out the many individuals involved in bringing the product to its current beta stage. At the top of the list was Timothy Kephart, founder of Graffiti Tracker, whom Kangas called his "equal partner," and Leap Ventures (Dave Milligan, John Gustafson and Jeff Hanson) whom Kangas said "became a partner of Hollrback."

Also, if you're looking to give Hollrback a try for yourself and don't have a beta code (which I have yet to get, as well), in the comments section of our post yesterday, Kangas confirmed the backdoor route:

Danny is right, you can slip right into the beta by installing Hollrback on your iPhone and signing up. You'll be ready to capture Hollrback Cards with your device and be able to login to Hollrback.com to manage them.
