Sunday Video: Steven Johnson on where good ideas come from

October 17, 2010 by Jeff Slobotski

For today's video, I wanted to share with you the work of Steven Johnson. I became aware of Johnson on Fred Wilson's blog as well as through Dusty and Danny over the last few weeks.

Johnson is the author of the recently released book "Where Good Ideas Come From: The Natural History of Innovation," which has received great reviews and widespread acclaim since its release.

Johnson's book looks at the cross between technology, science and society, and he has an uncanny way of conveying his points.

In the spirit of yesterday's TEDxOmaha event, I've included Johnsons' talk from TEDGlobal, as well as the four-minute promotional piece for his new book, which I plan on picking up over the next week.
