Omaha September 16, 2010 by Danny Schreiber

The team at SkyVu Pictures is hitting milestones, once again. In addition to celebrating the one year anniversary of the release of their first BATTLE BEARS game, they recently hit the four million paid and free download mark for their entire BATTLE BEARS game franchise. In the company of the original BATTLE BEARS, is BATTLE BEARS -1BATTLE BEARS: ZOMBIES, and most recently, BATTLE BEARS GO for iPad.

To celebrate with fans, SkyVu Pictures has teamed up with FreeAppADay.com to release BATTLE BEARS: ZOMBIES and BATTLE BEARS GO for iPad free for a limited time. Visit freeappaday.com to snag a copy for yourself.

Additionally, SkyVu has released their first game to the Android Market. BATTLE BEARS Free Beta is now available for Android OS 2.2 devices. According to their press release, SkyVu president Benjamin Vu sees the transition to the Andriod platform an important one:

"We’re based in the Midwest where Android is more widely used, so it’s great to finally share BATTLE BEARS with a whole new audience that uses non-iOS devices. Creating successful games in the App Store and the Android Market are key parts of our goal of making BATTLE BEARS a household name."

In the future, Vu said in the press release, look for SkyVu to release "several new BATTLE BEARS games that will target more casual gamers."
