SproutBox co-founders talk about Startup Weekend partnership

August 16, 2010 by Jeff Slobotski

A few weeks ago I spoke with Mike Trotzke and Brad Wisler, two of the co-founders of SproutBox. SproutBox, based in Bloomington, Indiana, is a startup incubator consisting of product developers, business experts and creatives who invest their talents in potential high growth companies.

SproutBox recently partnered with Startup Weekend, and with events held in Omaha and Des Moines, we wanted to learn more about what this partnership means.

Rounding out our the conversation (the 6:40 point), we visit about what's next for SproutBox and learn more about the event they are are holding in September, The Combine, which features some excellent speakers.

Congrats to SproutBox on the new partnership with Startup Wekeend -- two really awesome organizations that are really fostering the entrepreneurial spirit. SB + SW = match made in heaven.

Congrats!

I've been two one Startup Weekend (Indianapolis) and am looking to go again. I've got a couple of ideas which are too large & complex for SW, but I have another one which is quite appropriate and I intend to present it.
