Since first hearing about Omaha Creative Week a few months ago we began brainstorming ways to become involved. At Silicon Prairie News, we’re excited about highlighting our city’s creative community, whether it be interviews with web developers or sunglass designers, we’re dedicated to telling stories and sharing reasons individuals love to live and work in Omaha.

With our method in mind, we’ve organized an event for Omaha Creative Week that we hope sheds light on the organizers behind the Week and the community that surrounds it. On Monday, September 6, the second day of Creative Week, we invite you to join us at KANEKO for the Caretakers Forum: A discussion around the meaning and application of creativity.

Full details are below, and look for a follow up post in the coming weeks to learn more about our panelists.
