Phenomblue – Experience Designer (Omaha)

Phenomblue is an interactive brand experience agency

BECOME A SPONSOR

We are seeking passionate designers who can bring our crazy ideas to life.

Reporting to the Experience Design Director. A designer is responsible for understanding a client’s business and communication goals, and translating them into unique creative solutions. The Designer takes an active, hands-on role working with other team members, clients, and working with producers and technologists to implement designs into technology frameworks.

The right fit will share our belief that design is as much about behavior and emotion as it is about utility and ease of use. Designers provide leadership in concept development, creation of original art and wire-frame interaction models, project design/development, and QA. They are responsible for the development of innovative navigation systems, interface designs, typography, and screen or page layouts for software, applications, web sites, and other interactive media. They will push the state-of-the-art with every creation and thrive in our fast-paced culture.

ScoreYard – Web Designer (Des Moines)

ScoreYard builds tools to foster communities around sports teams and make coaches’ lives easier.

What We Need

We need a designer who is experienced in web design. Ideally you will also have experience designing user interfaces for data collection and / or social websites. Maybe you don’t have actual experience. That’s fine, show us you have skills and a passion for the UX art.

We need someone who can take a PSD, slice and dice it into images, HTML and CSS.  Know how jQuery works and what it can do? +1.

Know Haml and / or Sass? +5! All three of us have opinions when it comes to design. We each think we know what’s best for ScoreYard. So we need someone who is confident in their design abilities and able to tell us why something should be done a certain way.

You’ll Work For Free Right?

We do. As we mentioned, revenue is something we do not have. That being said, we need you to come to us with a plan of how you will be compensated. Be it babysitting your pet iguana, delayed compensation, fixing your car, painting your house, equity, etc. There’s really nothing we won’t consider.
