Scott Harrison shares the charity: water story, discusses best practices

Omaha April 26, 2010 by Jeff Slobotski

A few weeks ago, I spoke with Scott Harrison, founder of charity: water and upcoming Big Omaha speaker, to hear more about his organization, the impact they've had and their focus areas going forward.

Scott's background combined with the history of charity: water is amazing, and it's one of the main reasons we asked him to join us for Big Omaha.

Since interviewing Scott, we as a community have raised over $5,000 for charity: water, which will allow them to build one well serving clean water to a community for the next 20-plus years. It's incredible when you stop to think about what we've accomplished together for what is a relatively small dollar amount in America.

Enjoy the interview and we can't wait for Scott to share more of his story on May 14!
