Live-streaming: Conversations with Scientists at KANEKO, 5:30 p.m. CDT

Tune in at 5:30 p.m. CDT to watch a psychoanalyst take the stage at KANEKO with three local social media users.

Among his many pursuits as a Lacanian psychoanalyst and psychiatrist, Dr. Jean-Pierre Klotz examines the relationships between subjectivity and technology – intersections that he finds particularly interesting in the culture of the United States. His publications, which he composes in many languages, number in the hundreds, and he frequently communicates through Twitter.

In his KANEKO presentation, Klotz will discuss how new social media affects the psyche, changing the social bonds we form and shifting possibilities for creativity. Klotz will be joined by three enthusiastic users of social media:
