  1. Name: Jacob Chadwick
  2. Full-time job: Student, Wolf Theory
  3. City you’re blogging from: Omaha

1. What is the name, subject and URL of your blog?

Wolf Theory, Building Student-Based Businesses, wolftheory.com

2. Why do you blog?

I started blogging because I knew I wanted to start a business, but didn’t know what I was going to do, or how I was going to do it. I used blogging to organize my ideas and over time it evolved into what is now Wolf Theory. We at the Wolf help student and young professional-based businesses become sustainable and profitable.

3. How long have you been blogging and what blogging software do you use?

I started blogging about six months ago. I currently use Blogger, which is good and efficient, at least for right now.

4. What’s your favorite blog (besides your own)?

Other than SPN of course, OmahaDad is humorous and I enjoy the writing. Also a couple friends of mine started Native Food and Wine, and it’s always nice seeing what they are up to.

5. What do you think the state of the blogosphere is in our region?

Blogging is one of the best ways of keeping people connected to what you are doing. After reviewing the blogroll, and finding other blogs in the region, it is exciting to see what people and businesses in the area are accomplishing. Though I think the blogosphere in the Midwest is still growing and meetups like the Omaha Blog Co. are helping to build connections between area bloggers.
