SPN interviews Hasani Hunter of I.COM

Omaha August 9, 2009 by Aaron Onken

Recently, I had the chance to sit down and chat with Hasani Hunter, local iPhone developer and founder of I.COM. You may remember him from a recent Omaha World Herald article about local smartphone app developers.

Personally, I met Hasani a few months back at a Tweetup, and we started chatting about what he was working on at the time. As near as I can tell, Hasani is one of two full-time professional iPhone developers in the Omaha area. (If you are too, let me know with a comment below!) We will be posting an interview with the other iPhone guru, Andy Peters of Ninth Division, in the very near future.

I asked Hasani what it was like being an iPhone developer in Omaha, about his experiences as an entrepreneur, as well as his transition from corporate life into a business for himself. I hope you enjoy hearing what Hasani had to say as much as I did.

Excellent interview! I can personally vouch for Hasani's bona fides as a superb developer and smart entrepreneur. Most importantly, he's just a great guy and fantastic to work with. Thanks, Hasani, for everything you're doing with (and for) us at Eelios!

Fantastic! One of the best interviews I've seen yet. I really enjoy the opportunity he has to just "talk about his thoughts". It's more like a documentary than an interview.

Well done SPN and Hasani Hunter!

Hasani, Aaron -- well done! Enjoyed the interview quite a bit. Come to think of it, Hasani's story reminds me a lot of the early days of 21csi. Keep the dream alive, Hasani!!
