MVF Update: Change of speaker at tonight’s Entrepreneur Networking Reception

Omaha August 20, 2009 by Danny Schreiber

I just received a note from Dennis Wellendorf, executive director of the Midlands Venture Forum (MVF), that tonight's scheduled speaker is unable to make it due to a travel conflict.

No need to worry though, they quickly found an excellent replacement, Omahan Stephanie Healy. She'll be sharing her story about founding a startup with her husband that eventually sold to Experian, a global information services company.

Here's the note from Dennis:

A change to tonight's line up:

We are pleased to announce that the speaker at tonight’s Networking Reception will be Stephanie Healy. Stephanie, and her husband Mark, founded and grew Vente (formerly WFSdirect), a supplier of online consumer research. Growth at Vente included the participation of two venture capital firms. The company successful sold to Experian in 2005. Today, in addition to her involvement as a Board Member for MVF, Stephanie is busy growing Doc’s Choice Pet Food.

Our previously announced speaker, Paul Batcheller, is unable to join us due to a travel conflict.
