At Thurday night's Midlands Venture Forum event, Omahan Stephanie Healy spoke about her experiences founding, running, and later selling Vente, formerly WFSdirect, to Experian in 2005.

In the first 14 minutes, she shares her success story, from her job at Omaha Steaks in the 90s where she learned direct marketing on the web to helping run a company her husband and brother-in-law purchased a few years ago, Doc’s Choice Pet Food. In the remaining 25 minutes she answers audience questions, describing the direct marketing techniques she used at Omaha Steaks, her takeaways from working with venture capital, and the process she went through to sell Vente.
