If you or your company didn't fit the description to present at next year's Young Professional Summit, which is taking proposals till September 11th, you should definitely consider presenting at Infotec 2010. Like the YP Summit, it's a great opportunity for you or your company to show off your strengths, share your story, and network with others.

Jeff, who wears two hats, one with us and one with the AIM Institute, passed along this information for me to share:

April 13-14, 2010, at the Qwest Center Omaha. The Infotec Conference provides education, networking, community building and access to local and national experts for Information Technology (IT) professionals and stakeholders. The conference is directed by the AIM INSTITUTE as a vibrant, creative and forward-looking conference. Over 600 attended Infotec in 2009.

Individuals interested in presenting breakout sessions should go to www.infotec.org and click on the Call for Infotec 2010 Presentation/Workshop Proposals link. Presenter responsibilities, selection criteria and a link to the proposal submission form can be found on the web site. Special consideration will be given to submissions which include a link to a video of the presenter(s) making a presentation or providing a synopsis of the presentation.

The following are potential conference tracks under consideration:

  1. Business Applications and Strategies
  2. Business Skills for the IT Professional
  3. Cloud Computing
  4. Data Management and Business Intelligence
  5. Education, Non-Profit & Small Business IT
