Cornstalks Thursday: Ben Schaechter of GoPollGo

Omaha August 25, 2009 by Aaron Onken

It is Cornstalks time again, folks! Last month's event, the first to feature a cocktail/networking hour before the usual meeting, was a huge success. Therefore, you can look forward to more of the same this Thursday: networking and cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and a new speaker at 7:30 p.m.  Of course, you can expect the usual milk and cookies, as well. The location is even the same: the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce building (1301 Harney Street).

Last month, we heard from Charlie Hull of Lincoln-based Archrival, a youth marketing agency. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the audio while his presentation was being recorded, so we don't have footage to offer. Sorry about that. On the brighter side, you can all look forward to a recent interview with Charlie being posted very soon.

On this week's episode of Cornstalks, we're excited to hear from Ben Schaechter of GoPollGo. For those of you who don't know him, while many of us were relaxing during the summer, Ben was working hard on his startup, which promises to provide a real-time, data-visualizing solution for online polling. I don't know about you, but I'm thrilled to hear all about it. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

I might be handing out a few beta invites to test-drive the site as well if there are some people who are interested.

We actually happen to be a beta customer of GoPollGo, and were excited to see this press. We believe GoPollGo can be a real asset to our site and look forward to working with Mr Schaechter and his company.
