Whistletree provides free conference call solutions and a lot more.  After entering your name email address, you’re provided with an active conference dial-in number, access code, and host controls. Unlike other conferencing services, Whistletree doesn’t limit the number of participants.  We at SPN use Whistletree’s services quite a bit and really like the automatic recording and archival of all calls.  When you log into your account, you can look at the names, phone numbers and locations of callers plus additional details.

Whistletree also offers a webinar service that is a presentation share product, which is fully integrated with its conferencing service.  Conference participants are able to view the slides and ask questions as the host progresses through the presentation. The presentation and conference call are recorded in complete synchronization, and there’s no need for microphones or software download.

One of the newer products that has caught our eye is Whistletweet, a service integrating free conference calling with your individual Twitter account…we’ll be trying this out over the next few weeks…

The Whistletree Team is a solid group of folks who are making a dent in the industry and are yet another example of the exciting companies bubbling up in Lincoln.  We’ll be watching their progress over the next several months, and will touch back in down the line.

You can follow Whistletree on Twitter or hop over to the website to register for a free account and try the service out for yourself!
