Taste IT at Upstream West today – we’ll be there. Will you?

Omaha June 30, 2009 by Danny Schreiber

090701_tasteitadWe're looking forward to manning a table at today's AIM Institute's annual Taste IT. This year, it'll be held at at Upstream Brewing Company's west location, 171st & West Center Road, from 5-7 p.m.

Maybe of most interest to our readers, some of which attended Big Omaha, will be the sideshow of pictures that Malone & Company took at Big Omaha.

Hope to see you there! Let us know in the comments if your company also has a table (I know BrightMix will be there) or if you'll be stopping by for a drink (which is a great idea, too).

Here's more about the event, a press release from AIM:

AIM Institute to Host Taste IT: Satisfy Your Appetite for Beer and Technology

AIM invites IT professionals and enthusiasts to whet their technological appetites as they network with each other and savor the Upstream's hand-brewed ales and hors d'oeuvres. Local businesses - such as BrightMix, Silicon Prairie News, GolfTEC, Careerlink.com and the Peter Kiewit Institute at UNO - will also be on hand to showcase how they're applying innovative technologies.

"Technology pervades our lives - at home, at work and at play. AIM's goal is to create a fun opportunity for people to experience cool technologies while networking with professionals in the IT industry," said Adam Haeder, Vice President of Information Technology at the AIM Institute.
