About a month ago I was approached by an editor at BusinessWeek who was interested in learning more about Omaha’s emerging technology and entrepreneural scene. Throughout the process of writing the story…and rewriting…the editor did a great job of highlighting about some of Omaha’s strengths, and also focused on one of Omaha’s highly successful companies, Netshops.
Ash El Difrawi, the former Director of Brand Advertising and Google as well as a Consultant with McKinsey, talked about the decision he and his wife made to finally locate within Omaha after taking the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Netshops.
Take a look at the article here and pass it along to your friends and contacts. It’s this kind of national exposure that we need to highlight and pass along to others who have not yet realized what we have here in Omaha.
