The Silicon Prairie News team has landed safe and sound in Austin! (If you haven't caught the fact from the Twitter posts...)
The energy here is amazing as this is our first year we've had the opportunity to go. Our first night consisted of some impromptu events with many of the leaders in the social media / emerging technology industry.
We had an opportunity to talk briefly with Jeffrey Kalmikoff, Partner & Chief Creative Officer of Threadless as well as many others dashing around the halls like Gary Vaynerchuk and crew, Kevin Rose, Chris Brogan and more.
More interviews and updates to come as the week progresses as the information and contacts we make will prove useful in continuing to build the community in the Midwest.
