AIM Web 2.0 Breakfast Seminars
Starting this Friday, and for the next few weeks, the AIM Institute is holding their Web 2.0 Breakfast series.
This month they are turning their attention to entrepreneurs who have based their business models on Web 2.0 technology.
- Jan. 9 - "Building a Multi-Revenue-Stream Strategy," Jimmy Hendricks of Collarfree.com will discuss how he has built his clothing design business upon an online design and e-commerce platform. Using Web 2.0 collaboration, he has built a community of graphic and fashion designers, who, in turn, attract a loyal following of retail customers.
- Jan. 16 - "Overcoming Common Obstacles with Web 2.0 Entrepreneurship," Robert Armbrister of Homeingle.com will discuss the obstacles he has overcome in developing his project and event management website.
- Jan. 23 - "Into the Wild with Into Outdoors," Josh Bell of IntoOutdoors.com will discuss his social network website for outdoor enthusiasts.
All of the talks are from 7:30am - 8:30am at the Gallup Campus down by the Qwest Center.
Each of the talks is $15 to attend & you can register online or pay at the door.
Or...you can pick up a free pass here! SPN has 5 free passes to each of the upcoming events! The first 5 people to comment below will receive a free pass to this Friday's talk. Then next week, we'll post again with another chance to win 5 passes to that session and so on.
Thanks again to the AIM Institute for organizing these talks! We hope to see lots of people there bright and early starting this Friday!

Sounds neat - count me in!
Sounds interesting.. but that is friggin' early in the morning. And, after poker night, no less! For a westie like me, I'll have to wake up at 6:30 if I want to get there on time.
Ok, I think I can commit. It'll be worth it. Does SPN offer wake up calls?
Count me in. Let me know if I need to register online, etc.
@Ryan - You were 1 person too late for the free passes... good news though, there's still space available, and we'll have more free tickets next week. You can register online or pay at the door, the cost is $15.
@Everyone else... I will email you the details on how to register and get the free discount!
Thanks for the pass guys and it was good to meet you, I had a good time.
I had a few questions, but was unfortunately unable to stay afterwards (had to get to work). It would be cool if you guys did an online Q&A with Mr. Hendricks. Otherwise, I'll just e-mail him, but I think having a public Q&A would be a better format.
Thanks again,
Zach
